Privacy Policy

Feelody is operated by The Simple App Inc. ('we', 'us', 'our'). Our website is feelody.ai. Questions about this policy may be sent to david@thesimpleapp.io.

Email address. When you join the waitlist, we store your email address so we can send your confirmation, your position in line, and launch communications.

Referral attribution. We store a referral code tied to your email so we can credit you when people you invite confirm their spots. We record which referral code, if any, brought you here.

Anonymous analytics. We use PostHog to measure pageviews and interaction events (for example, 'waitlist form submitted'). PostHog is configured in cookieless mode where possible. No personal identifiers are attached to these events. IP addresses are not stored beyond the request.

UTM parameters. If you arrive via a link with campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), we store them alongside your waitlist record to understand which channels are working. These are not shared with third parties.

We do not collect payment information, location data, device identifiers, or any data from minors. The waitlist is intended for adults.

To send you the confirmation email, your position in line, and your referral link. Without your email address, we cannot hold your spot.

To track verified referrals so founding membership can be granted accurately and fairly.

To measure whether the site is working — which pages people read, where they drop off, and what marketing brings them here. This improves the product before launch.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party.

For EU and UK residents: our legal basis for processing your email address is consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form. Our legal basis for anonymous analytics is legitimate interest — understanding whether our site functions is a reasonable operational need, and the data is collected in a form that cannot identify you.

You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Your waitlist record will be deleted within 30 days of the request.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, email david@thesimpleapp.io. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. You have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale — though no sale occurs.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.

Waitlist records are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until Feelody launches and the waitlist converts to an account or is closed — whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained for 12 months in aggregate form.

Resend (resend.com) processes outbound email on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver the emails described above.

PostHog (posthog.com) processes anonymous analytics data under a data processing agreement. No personal identifiers are shared.

Supabase (supabase.com) stores the waitlist database under a data processing agreement. Data is stored in a region consistent with applicable law.

Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) serves the website and processes requests through its network. Cloudflare may log request data per its own privacy policy.

No other third-party services receive your data.

We aim to operate without persistent cookies. If a session or analytics cookie is set, it is strictly necessary for the function described and does not track you across other sites. We do not use advertising cookies.

Waitlist data is stored in a Supabase database with row-level security policies. Access is restricted to authenticated service roles. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

No security measure is perfect. If you believe your data has been exposed, contact david@thesimpleapp.io immediately.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to waitlist members before they take effect. The 'last updated' date above reflects the current version.
